InFocus Training specialise in training amateur
and semi pro photographers on how to achieve the best from their digital equipment.
It’s a fact that once a digital camera and a few accessories have been purchased the
fascinating hobby of photography becomes almost cost free. You can record hundreds
of images at a time, load them onto a computer and produce prints at a very reasonable
cost.
Yet often, it is this very low cost of pursuing the hobby that discourages people from realising their true artistic potential. All to often the question is asked, "What do I do with the images now that they’re on my computer?" or, "This picture is not quite right, how can I turn it into a nice photograph?"
Photo optimisation is sometimes seen as bewildering. Issues such as file types, white
balance, colour management and cropping and rotating can be daunting. But they
need not be.
